Lejna Zadravec was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She started her dance journey at a young age and honed her skills in various dance styles. She particularly excelled in salsa, where she achieved her greatest success to date. In 2019, she crowned her hard work with the title of World Salsa Champion, a huge accomplishment for her and for all dancers from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
That same year, she also took second place at the European Championship in Argentine Tango.
Prior to that, for 5 consecutive years, she was among the top salsa dancers in Europe, frequently gracing the winner's podiums at the best European and global dance floors. She regularly participated in IDO finals around the world.
She began her dance career in her hometown of Sarajevo at the age of 9. Soon, she won several titles as a national champion in Latin-American, standard dances, and combinations.
Recently, she has been performing as a coach and mentor at the highest level of dance festivals across Europe, also leading courses in salsa, Argentine tango, bachata, bachatanga, salsatanga, zouk, and kizomba. She has been invited multiple times to teach dancers in America and Asia...
Her greatest achievements include first place at the World Salsa Championship, second place at the European Tango Championship, and multiple wins at various international dance competitions.
It's worth mentioning her work as a choreographer. In the realm of Latin-American, standard, and combination dances in Bosnia, she is almost unmatched. She creates choreographies for individuals, couples, and groups, leading teams of all ages to the most prestigious competitions across Europe in salsa, Argentine tango, bachata, Latin-American show. She is also an international instructor of salsa, Argentine tango, bachata, bachatanga, salsatanga, zouk, and kizomba.
Through her contributions, she has significantly contributed to the popularization of salsa in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the spread of dance culture in the region.
